Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia on Tuesday accused Iran of attacking a Saudi oil tanker while transiting through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning Iran for the assault on the Saudi tanker Wednyan and the Qatari vessel Al-Rekayyat in the strategic waterway. The statement highlighted the attacks as threats to the security of international navigation and global energy supplies, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the safety of vessels in this critical maritime corridor.

Iran's state broadcaster IRIB, referencing unnamed sources, earlier reported that a Qatari oil tanker had been targeted after allegedly ignoring repeated warnings from Iranian forces. The vessel was reportedly transiting the Strait of Hormuz with support from the US Navy at the time of the incident.
