Mecca:The Civil Defense of Saudi Arabia has announced that the danger has passed in Mecca, Taif, and the northwestern region of Tabuk. This follows emergency warnings that were issued for these areas as well as Jeddah and Yanbu.

According to Anadolu Agency, separate all-clear notices were issued urging residents to continue adhering to instructions and to refrain from gathering or filming.

The warnings were initially disseminated through the national early warning platform regarding a 'potential danger,' though the nature of the threat was not specified, nor were there any reports of casualties or damage.

Recently, Saudi Arabia has experienced a series of missile and drone attacks attributed to the Houthis. On July 20, the Houthis declared a 'maritime blockade' on Saudi Arabia and later claimed responsibility for missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi-linked vessels and sites.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia has been leading a coalition in support of Yemen's internationally recognized government against the Houthis, who have been in control of the capital Sanaa and several provinces since September 2014.
