Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia reported that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 92 drones originating from Iran on Monday. The interceptions came amidst ongoing US-Israeli attacks on Tehran, which have prompted Iranian retaliatory strikes.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Saudi Defense Ministry released a series of statements detailing the incidents. It was reported that 76 drones targeted the Eastern Province in multiple waves, all of which were neutralized by the country's air defense systems. The ministry further stated that additional drones targeted Riyadh and the Eastern Province, with three of them being intercepted.

Furthermore, the Defense Ministry disclosed that 13 more drones were shot down over Kharj in central Saudi Arabia. However, the ministry did not provide any information regarding casualties or potential damage from these incidents.

The current regional tensions have escalated significantly following a joint offensive by the US and Israel against Iran since February 28. This offensive has resulted in approximately 1,200 fatalities, including the death of the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes against Israel and several other countries in the region, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states, claiming these are directed at 'US military assets.' Some of these retaliatory strikes have led to casualties and inflicted damage on civilian infrastructure, such as airports, ports, and buildings.
