Riyadh: Four people were injured after debris from an intercepted ballistic missile fell in Riyadh, the Saudi Civil Defense announced on Wednesday. The fragments landed on a residential building, causing injuries and limited material damage.

According to Anadolu Agency, the injured individuals were Asian residents, and the Civil Defense condemned the attack on civilian facilities as a 'flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.' This incident is part of ongoing regional escalations following a joint offensive launched by Israel and the US against Iran on February 28, which resulted in approximately 1,300 casualties, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have led to further casualties, damage to infrastructure, and disruptions in global markets and aviation.
