According to Anadolu Agency, the announcement underlines FIFA's continued expansion of the World Cup's geographical footprint. Additionally, Morocco, Portugal, and Spain were named as joint hosts for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, highlighting a trend toward collaborative hosting efforts for future tournaments.
