Saudi-Led Alliance Agrees on Deterrence Strategy Against Houthi Attacks

Mecca:The Strategic Political and Defense Committee of the newly formed Mecca Alliance, which includes Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan, has decided to implement collective deterrence measures. This decision was made in response to recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, as announced by the Saudi defense minister.

According to Anadolu Agency, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman stated that the committee had come to this agreement during an emergency meeting. The move aims to address the attacks and hold those responsible accountable.

The committee expressed its solidarity with Riyadh, condemning the "heinous attacks" on Saudi Arabia and its holy sites. This development is part of the ongoing conflict in Yemen, which has escalated with the Houthis launching drone and missile strikes into Saudi territory.
