Saudi-Led Coalition Destroys Ballistic Missile Depot in Yemen

Saada:The Saudi-led coalition announced the destruction of a depot containing 20 ballistic missiles in Yemen's northwestern Saada province, along with a ballistic missile launch site in the capital, Sanaa.

According to Anadolu Agency, coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki reported that the strikes were part of a broader military operation. On Monday, the coalition targeted Houthi positions in Yemen's western Hodeidah province, destroying weapons depots and sites storing explosive-laden boats and naval mines.

Al-Maliki added that coalition forces had thwarted preparations for imminent attacks aimed at waterways in the southern Red Sea. The conflict in Yemen has been ongoing since the Houthis took control of the capital Sanaa and other provinces in 2014, leading to the Saudi-led intervention in 2015 to support the internationally recognized government.

Following the collapse of a UN-brokered truce in July 2022, fighting has intensified in the region.
