Aleppo: The YPG/SDG terror group carried out a suicide drone attack targeting a military vehicle belonging to the Syrian Army in Aleppo’s countryside, the country’s Defense Ministry said on Tuesday. In a statement carried by Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the ministry’s Media and Communications Department reported that the SDF organization targeted a military vehicle of the Syrian Arab Army near the town of Sarrin in Aleppo’s countryside.

According to Anadolu Agency, no further details were immediately provided regarding casualties or damage from the attack. This incident took place following an announcement by the Syrian presidency of a ‘mutual understanding’ with the SDF group concerning the future governance of the Hasakah province.

In addition to the drone attack, the Defense Ministry announced a four-day ceasefire with the SDF. This ceasefire took effect at 8 pm local time (1700GMT) on Tuesday, signaling a temporary halt in hostilities.
