Belgrade: Serbia's president announced on Monday the suspension of a planned sale of ammunition to Israel amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. President Aleksandar Vucic shared the news following a meeting of the Serbian General Staff Board, highlighting Serbia's longstanding practice of selling ammunition to Israel since the conflict began in October 2023.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Vucic emphasized Serbia's friendly relations with both Israel and Iran and called for peace in the Middle East. He expressed concern over the recent US attacks on Iran, suggesting that these actions violated international law and undermined global justice.

Vucic questioned the West's position on territorial integrity, pointing out that many have violated these principles. He described the current global situation as chaotic, with nations acting unilaterally and trust eroding internationally. "Madness has spread throughout the world," he remarked, reflecting on the deteriorating state of international relations.
