Belgrade: Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic inaugurated a factory for assembling Israeli-made drones, which will produce equipment for the Serbian Armed Forces and the militaries of other countries.

According to Anadolu Agency, Vucic announced on social media that the factory will employ around 100 workers and produce state-of-the-art equipment. He emphasized that the facility would not only serve the Serbian Armed Forces but also the armies of other nations.

Vucic highlighted plans for future expansion, revealing that at least three more factories in collaboration with Israeli partners will be established across Serbia.

In a statement to daily Informer, Vucic stressed that the primary objective for opening the factory was to maintain peace and stability. He noted that the facility would enhance Serbia's ability to deter potential aggressors, as reported by broadcaster RTS.
