Tel aviv: Sirens sounded across Israel after Iran launched a new missile attack, Israeli authorities said Sunday. The army reported that air defense systems were actively intercepting the missiles, and early warning alerts were sent to mobile phones in the threatened areas, advising residents to remain in shelters until further notice.

According to Anadolu Agency, regional escalations have continued to rage since Israel and the US launched an offensive against Iran on Feb. 28. This offensive has resulted in the death of more than 1,300 people, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure. These developments have also disrupted global markets and aviation.
