Ankara: Sirens sounded Saturday in several communities across the Golan Heights after an Iranian drone was launched and fell in an open area, Israeli media reported. The situation raised immediate concerns of a potential drone attack, prompting swift defensive measures.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper detailed that sirens were activated in the communities of Ein Zivan, Alonei HaBashan, and Ortal. This activation was a precautionary response to the detected drone threat. The Israeli Home Front Command later confirmed that the incident had concluded without further escalation.

Hostilities between Israel and Iran escalated on June 13, when Israel initiated airstrikes targeting several sites in Iran, focusing on military and nuclear facilities. This offensive prompted Tehran to retaliate with missile strikes, intensifying tensions in the region.
