Slovenia Condemns US-Israel Attacks on Iran as ‘Unacceptable Violations of Int’l Law’

Ljubljana: Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon on Thursday condemned attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran as 'unacceptable violations of international law,' according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fajon expressed her condemnation in a post on the US social media platform X. She criticized the actions of both Israel and the United States, labeling these attacks as violations of international law.

In her statement, Fajon also condemned Iran's retaliatory actions, particularly highlighting what she described as 'unjustified and indiscriminate attacks on civilian targets' in the region.

The offensive by Israel and the United States against Iran began on Saturday, with reports from Iranian authorities indicating at least 926 casualties, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and senior military officials.

In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
