ANKARA: Turkish football club Besiktas announced Monday that Spanish defender Francisco Montero left the club. 'We have terminated our contract with our professional football player Francisco Montero by mutual consent,' the club said in a statement. Montero, 25, joined Besiktas in the 2020-2021 season and played 46 matches in 2 seasons. The Spanish defender was loaned to German 2. Bundesliga team Hamburg in the 2022-2023 season.
