New York:Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and Kuwait's Crown Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held discussions on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing regional and international issues.

According to Anadolu Agency, the talks took place on Wednesday during the 81st UN General Assembly in New York, with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani also in attendance.

The discussions focused on strengthening the relationship between Syria and Kuwait and involved an exchange of views on regional and international matters of mutual interest. The high-level meetings of the UN General Assembly, which began on Tuesday, will continue through September 28, with Syria actively participating in the proceedings.
