Aleppo: The Syrian Army has initiated a military operation targeting the positions of the terrorist organization YPG/SDF in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported that the army's Operations Command announced the commencement of operations in response to sites occupied by the groups and allied remnants of the former regime in the town of Deir Hafir. These sites have been identified as military bases for the SDF and its allies, where Iranian-made suicide drones were launched towards the city of Aleppo.

The Operations Command highlighted that these targeted locations have played a significant role in shelling the eastern countryside of Aleppo and obstructing civilians from exiting the area. The army's operation follows the publication of four maps marking sites in Deir Hafir allegedly used by the YPG/SDF terrorist organization.
