Beirut: At least 10 people were injured in overnight Israeli attacks in Lebanon on Sunday, officials said. The Health Ministry, cited by the state news agency NNA, reported that Israeli strikes on the Burj Rahal municipality in the Tyre district resulted in injuries to nine citizens.

According to Anadolu Agency, a child was seriously injured in strikes targeting Wadi Al-Zararia in the Sidon district and was transferred to intensive care. The ongoing cross-border conflict between Israel and Hezbollah intensified into a full-scale war in September 2024. Despite a ceasefire agreement in November, Israeli forces have continued regular attacks in southern Lebanon, asserting that they are aimed at Hezbollah's activities.

Since the ceasefire, Lebanese authorities have documented nearly 3,000 Israeli violations of the agreement, with reports of at least 231 fatalities and over 500 injuries. The ceasefire deal stipulated that Israel should fully withdraw from southern Lebanon by January 26, but the deadline was extended to February 18 after Tel Aviv's non-compliance. Israel continues to maintain a military presence at five border outposts.
