Antalya: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on Thursday expressed gratitude to Trkiye for welcoming Ukrainian citizens, while attending events in Antalya, where he will also participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF 2025).

According to Anadolu Agency, Sybiha emphasized the historical friendship and cooperation between the Turkish and Ukrainian people, highlighting the significance of the relationship between the two nations. He expressed appreciation for Trkiye's support and hospitality, noting that many Ukrainians now call Antalya home.

Sybiha conveyed Ukraine's enduring wish for peace, which he stated should be inclusive, permanent, and fair. He remarked on the importance of real friendships and values, especially in light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He extended his gratitude to the Turkish people, officials, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for their continuous humanitarian aid and support.

The Ukrainian foreign minister emphasized the progress being made towards achieving peace through joint efforts between the two countries. He reiterated his appreciation for Trkiye's role in fostering a cooperative relationship, underscoring the importance of their continued partnership.
