Berlin: Trkiye expects the Customs Union negotiations with the EU to gain momentum as the High-Level Dialogue on Trade improved their relations and cooperation, Trade Minister Omer Bolat said. Following his meeting with Thomas Hans Ossowski, head of the EU's delegation to Trkiye, Bolat emphasized the significance of enhancing multifaceted relations with the EU.

According to Anadolu Agency, Bolat expressed Trkiye's advocacy for an inclusive EU trade policy and cooperation in green and digital transformation. He stated that Trkiye is determined to continue deepening and developing trade relations with the EU. The High-Level Dialogue on Trade between Trkiye and the EU, which took place on July 8, 2024, marked a pivotal step in their ongoing negotiations.
