Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday expressed strong condemnation of "all forms of attacks" that violate Qatar's sovereignty. In a phone call with Emir Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Erdogan emphasized Trkiye's unwavering support for its "Qatari brothers," as reported by the country's Communications Directorate.

According to Anadolu Agency, the conversation between the two leaders also covered discussions on bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues. President Erdogan highlighted his recent interactions at the NATO Summit, where he engaged with counterparts concerning the ongoing military escalation between Iran and Israel.

The Turkish president further expressed his hope for the conflicting parties to uphold a de facto ceasefire, emphasizing the importance of sustaining the peace that has been achieved.
