Trkiye Employs Diplomatic Strategies for Regional Stability, Says President Erdogan

Istanbul: Trkiye is employing all diplomatic strategies to establish stability not only in the Caucasus but throughout the entire region, as stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is visiting Trkiye on a working trip. The discussions took place on Friday in Istanbul.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan emphasized ongoing engagements with various leaders to manage the risks stemming from the escalating cycle of violence initiated by Israel's actions against Iran. He also highlighted the significance of the consensus achieved in the ongoing peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, particularly in the current context, as mentioned by Trkiye's Communications Directorate on X.

In their discussions, Erdogan and Pashinyan addressed the current regional developments, the interactions between Ankara and Yerevan, and the peace and dialogue process in the South Caucasus. The Turkish president reiterated his country's commitment to providing a range of support for initiatives aimed at the region's development, adhering to a 'win-win' approach.

The meeting also explored potential measures to be implemented as part of the normalization process between Trkiye and Armenia.
