Trkiye: Trkiye has expressed its condolences to the Democratic Republic of the Congo following a landslide at a mining site in the east of the country that resulted in significant loss of life.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over the incident. The ministry conveyed its condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It also wished a swift recovery for those who were injured in the tragedy.

The landslide took place on Wednesday at the Rubaya coltan mining site located in North Kivu province. Media reports indicate that the disaster claimed the lives of over 200 individuals.
