Trkiye Innovation Week 2025 Launches in Istanbul

Moscow: Trkiye Innovation Week 2025 has commenced in Istanbul, drawing close to 20,000 innovation enthusiasts. The event showcases a comprehensive program featuring prominent speakers and significant topics, attracting considerable interest from the younger audience. Organizers express optimism that the event will produce beneficial outcomes for both the nation and its economy.

According to Anadolu Agency, a video message from the CEO of Togg, Trkiye's leading domestic electric vehicle manufacturer, announced the initial export of 100 vehicles to Germany, with projections to increase this number to nearly 1,000 by the year's end.

In addition to innovation, the event touched on geopolitical developments. Turkish minister Bolat commented on the first phase of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. He expressed hope that this would facilitate the swift delivery of aid, end Israel's occupation, and lead to Gaza's rebuilding.

Bolat also highlighted Trkiye's economic measures against Israel, implemented since May 2024. These measures include halting trade, impacting a $10 billion annual trade volume, and refusing entry to Israeli vessels. The intent is to pressure Israel into ceasing its actions in Gaza, while continuing economic support for the Palestinian government to avert further collapse.

The event includes panels, masterclasses, and digital art exhibitions, alongside networking opportunities. A mobile app enhances the experience with AI-based recommendations, personalized schedules, and interactive features. Notable exhibits include Refik Anadol's 'Sense of Healing,' a digital sculpture using brain-data visuals to provide a sensory experience. Over 20 exhibitions blending technology and art are on display, featuring digital art, VR experiences, wearable technology, and AI-driven cinema.
