Trkiye ‘Neutralizes’ Senior PKK Terrorist in Northern Iraq.

Ankara: The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has successfully "neutralized" a senior PKK terrorist during an operation in northern Iraq, as reported by security sources on Wednesday. According to Anadolu Agency, Sadiye Muhammed Ahmed, known by the codename Hevi, had been an active member of the terrorist group operating in Syria and Iraq since 2001. The targeted operation took place in Sinjar, where Ahmed was identified as a ringleader within the group's intelligence wing. Turkish authorities commonly use the term 'neutralize' to indicate that the terrorists have either surrendered, been killed, or captured. The PKK, which is recognized as a terror organization by Trkiye, the US, and the EU, has been engaged in a 40-year-long terror campaign against Trkiye. This campaign has resulted in the deaths of over 40,000 individuals, including infants, women, and children.
