Bishkek: The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) extended its support to the second National STEM Robotics Olympiad held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The event witnessed the participation of approximately 400 students aged between 7 and 14, organized by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation.

According to Anadolu Agency, the competition was graced by officials from the ministry, representatives from the Turkish Embassy, and TIKA, all gathered at the Gazprom Sports Complex. Kursat Dulkadir, the education counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek, emphasized the importance of education in Kyrgyzstan and praised the efforts in nurturing future scientists and engineers. He expressed his congratulations to the students on behalf of Trkiye.

Kyrgyz Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation, Aibek Chotonov, noted the increasing interest in robotics among children in Kyrgyzstan. TIKA Coordinator Mehmet Bodur assured continued support for young talents, emphasizing the shared future of Trkiye and Kyrgyzstan.

Participants included students from various educational institutions such as the Science Bishkek Innovation Center established by TIKA, the Bishkek Kyrgyz-Turkish Anatolian High School affiliated with Trkiye's Ministry of National Education, schools run by the Turkish Maarif Foundation, and 41 schools under the Kyrgyz Ministry of Science.
