ANKARA: Trkiye's benchmark stock index finished Tuesday at 9,624.04 points, falling 0.78% from the previous close. After starting the day at 9,737.17 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 75.52 points with a daily transaction volume of 77.4 billion liras ($2.27 billion). The price of an ounce of gold was $2,539.00, while Brent crude oil sold for around $69.78 per barrel as of 6.12 p.m. local time (1512GMT).
