Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, concluded Monday's trading session at 10,616.18 points, marking a 2.41% rise. The index began the week at 10,199.25 points, gaining 250.02 points from the previous Friday's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index fluctuated between a low of 10,413.24 and a high of 10,641.00 during the trading day. The total market value of the BIST 100 was approximately 9.8 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $243.5 billion, with a trading volume reaching 115 billion Turkish liras, or $2.85 billion. Out of the stocks listed on the index, 95 saw an increase in value, while five experienced declines compared to the previous close.

In the commodities market, gold was priced at $3,398.20 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was trading at $68.10 per barrel as of 6.55 p.m. local time (1555GMT). The currency exchange rates showed the US dollar trading at 40.3880 Turkish liras, the euro at 47.3120 Turkish liras, and the British pound at 54.5730 Turkish liras.
