Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, concluded Monday at 11,311.06 points, marking a decline of 0.27% from its previous session close. Starting the week at 11,383.46 points, the index recorded a loss of 30.84 points from Friday's closing figures.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index experienced fluctuations throughout the day, hitting a low of 11,266.01 and a high of 11,402.42. The market value of the BIST 100 was approximately 10.64 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $249.5 billion, with a trading volume reaching 134.1 billion liras, or $3.13 billion.

The performance of stocks within the index was mixed, with 36 stocks increasing in value and 62 declining compared to the previous closing. Meanwhile, gold was priced at $4,418.75 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was selling for $61.40 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT).

Currency exchange rates featured the US dollar trading at 42.8160 liras, the euro at 50.4050 liras, and the British pound at 57.6405 liras.
