Ankara: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100, concluded Thursday at 11,336.18 points, marking a slight decrease of 0.03%.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index began the day at 11,378.44 points and saw a decrease of 3.92 points from Wednesday's close. During the trading session, the index reached a low of 11,336.18 and a high of 11,426.65.

The market value of the BIST 100 was approximately 10.6 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $249.7 billion, with a trading volume of 62 billion liras, or $1.45 billion. Out of the stocks listed on the index, 45 experienced an increase, while 49 saw a decline compared to the previous day's close.

As of 6.50 pm local time (1650GMT), gold was valued at $4,480.30 per ounce. Brent crude oil was priced at $61.80 per barrel. In the currency market, the exchange rate for the US dollar against the Turkish lira was 42.8460, the euro was at 50.5760, and the British pound traded for 58.0060 liras.
