Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, concluded the week at a record high of 12,668.52 points, marking an increase of 1.7%. The index began the day at 12,486.53 points, gaining 211.83 points from Thursday's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index experienced its lowest value at 12,449.46, while reaching its peak at 12,668.52 during the day. The market value of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 12.44 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $288.6 billion, with a trading volume of 194 billion liras, or $4.49 billion.

Out of the stocks listed on the index, 70 saw an increase in value, while 29 experienced a decline compared to the previous close. In the commodities market, gold was priced at $4,593.80 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was sold at $64 per barrel as of 7.30 pm local time (1630GMT).

The exchange rates for the Turkish lira were reported as 43.7295 against the US dollar, 50.1950 against the euro, and 57.9185 against the British pound.
