According to Anadolu Agency, the Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index began the day at 9,196.02 points and increased by 73.44 points, achieving a daily transaction volume of 109 billion liras, equivalent to $3.18 billion. Meanwhile, the price of an ounce of gold reached $2,604.20, and Brent crude oil was priced at approximately $71.31 per barrel as of 6.38 p.m. local time (1538GMT). In currency exchange, the US dollar to Turkish lira rate was recorded at 34.3403, the euro to lira rate at 36.3755, and the British pound was trading at 43.6461 liras.
