Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100, concluded Thursday's trading session at 11,073.27 points, reflecting an increase of 0.94%. Starting the day at 11,029.29 points, the index gained 102.9 points from Tuesday's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index experienced fluctuations throughout the day, with its lowest value recorded at 10,969.39 points and reaching a daily high of 11,108.07 points. The overall market value of the BIST 100 was approximately 10.3 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $245.3 billion. The trading volume for the day stood at 154 billion liras, or $3.65 billion.

Out of the stocks listed on the index, 53 saw gains while 43 experienced declines compared to the previous close. In the commodities market, gold was priced at $3,985.40 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was trading at $63.1 per barrel as of 7.10 pm local time (1610GMT).

Currency exchange rates showed the US dollar trading at 42.1190 Turkish liras, the euro at 48.6850 liras, and the British pound at 55.3120 liras.
