Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100, concluded the week on Friday, closing at 11,311.31 points, marking an increase of 0.69%.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index began the day at 11,269.51 points and gained 77.65 points compared to Thursday's closing figures. The index recorded its lowest value at 11,253.29 points and reached a daily high of 11,330.97 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 10.6 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $249.3 billion, with a trading volume of 111 billion liras, or $2.61 billion. Out of the stocks listed, 66 showed an increase while 32 experienced a decline compared to the previous close.

As of 7.30 pm local time (1630GMT), gold prices were at $4,286.50 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was priced at $60.9 per barrel. The exchange rates were noted with the US dollar trading at 42.6950 Turkish liras, the euro at 50.1400 liras, and the British pound at 57.3560 liras.
