Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, commenced the week positively by opening at 13,825.07 points on Monday, marking an increase of 0.33% or 45.68 points.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index had previously closed on Friday at 13,779.39 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.14% with a daily transaction volume reaching 189 billion Turkish liras, which is equivalent to approximately $3.98 billion.

At 10.20 am local time (0720GMT), the exchange rates were recorded at 47.7185 Turkish liras per US dollar, 55.1770 per euro, and 64.4345 per British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,353, while Brent crude futures were trading at $84 per barrel.
