Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, concluded Thursday's trading session at 10,945.49 points, marking an increase of 0.28%. The index started the day at 10,973.54 points and gained 30.84 points from the previous day's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index recorded its lowest at 10,934.18 points and reached a daily high of 11,032.53 points. The market capitalization for the BIST 100 was approximately 10.3 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $243.1 billion, with a trading volume amounting to 113 billion liras, or $2.66 billion.

Among the stocks listed on the index, 51 saw an increase in their value, while 47 experienced a decline compared to the previous close. Additionally, gold was priced at $4,154.30 per ounce, and Brent crude oil traded at $62.75 per barrel as of 7.30 pm local time (1630GMT).

The exchange rates showed the US dollar trading at 42.4260 liras, the euro at 49.3025 liras, and the British pound at 56.3800 liras.
