Istanbul: Trkiye’s benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100, concluded Monday at 13,703.96 points, marking a 0.3% rise from its previous close. The index kicked off the week at 13,722.47 points and gained 41.21 points throughout the trading day.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index experienced fluctuations, reaching a low of 13,675.98 points and climbing to a high of 13,922.45 points. The market value for the index was approximately 13.3 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $291.9 billion, with a trading volume of 204 billion liras, or $4.45 billion.

Out of the stocks listed on the BIST 100, 59 saw gains while 38 declined compared to the previous close. Elsewhere in the market, gold was priced at $4,474 per ounce, and Brent crude futures were trading at $96.7 as of 1540GMT.

In currency exchange rates, the US dollar was valued at 45.9010 Turkish liras, the euro at 53.4020 liras, and the British pound at 61.7710 liras.
