ANKARA: Trkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 9,833.22 points, rising 0.78% from the previous close. Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 76.06 points with a daily trading volume of 86 billion Turkish liras ($2.50 billion). The price of an ounce of gold was $2,553.10, while Brent crude oil sold for around $78.94 per barrel as of 6.31 p.m. local time (1531GMT).
