Ankara: The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Trkiye (TCMB) surged to $153.11 billion last week, marking an increase of $7.45 billion from the previous week.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves saw an increase of $3.7 billion, reaching $69.9 billion from the previous $65.401 billion, as announced by the bank on Thursday. In the same period, gold reserves experienced a rise of $3.76 billion, climbing from $80.25 billion to $84.2 billion.
The combined effect of these increases led to the Central Bank's total reserves rising from $145.66 billion to $153.1 billion.
