Trkiye’s Energy Ministry Denies Oil Shipments to Israel from Ceyhan Terminal.

ISTANBUL: Trkiye's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources refuted claims Sunday of oil shipments from the Ceyhan terminal to Israel, calling them 'baseless.' The ministry clarified that the operations of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline in Trkiye are managed by BOTAS International under an international agreement with Azerbaijan and Georgia. It emphasized that BOTAS has "no authority or involvement in the purchase or sale of oil." According to Anadolu Agency, companies transporting oil through the BTC pipeline for export to global markets from the Haydar Aliyev Terminal have adhered to Trkiye's recent decision not to engage in trade with Israel. The ministry stated that no deliveries with Israel as the delivery destination have taken place. The Anadolu Agency noted that the information provided is only a summarized portion of the news stories available to subscribers in the AA News Broadcasting System.
