Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday welcomed his Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto with an official ceremony at the presidential palace in the capital Ankara. The visit marks a significant diplomatic engagement between Trkiye and Indonesia.
According to Anadolu Agency, the two leaders are set to engage in a bilateral meeting, co-chair inter-delegation talks, and conduct a joint news conference. This visit emphasizes the importance both nations place on strengthening their diplomatic and economic ties.
The ceremony was attended by several key Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek. These officials highlight the broad scope of discussions expected during Prabowo's visit.
Prabowo's official visit to Trkiye commenced on Wednesday. He is also anticipated to participate in the three-day Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which is scheduled to begin on Friday. The forum will provide an additional platform for international dialogue and cooperation.
