Ankara:Trkiye: The BIST 100, Trkiye's benchmark stock index, opened Tuesday at 12,437.59 points, marking a slight decline of 0.05% or 6.32 points from the previous session.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index had risen by 1.42% on Monday, closing at 12,443.92 points with a daily transaction volume reaching 118 billion liras, equivalent to $2.4 billion.

By 10.55 am local time (0755GMT) on Tuesday, the exchange rates were recorded at 49.1800 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.2870 to the euro, and 65.1300 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,140.50, while Brent crude futures were trading at $99.9 per barrel.
