Ankara: Trkiye's Tayfun Missile and Weapon System, currently in mass production and delivery, successfully hit its target in its latest test, demonstrating its advanced capabilities.
According to Anadolu Agency, testing continues on various variants of Tayfun, which is Trkiye's longest-range and domestically produced ballistic missile. Turkish Defense Industries Secretary Haluk Gorgun commented on the successful test launch, highlighting the expansion of Trkiye's security and deterrent capabilities. Gorgun emphasized the ongoing addition of new systems to Trkiye's inventory to bolster its defense with multi-layered, domestically produced solutions.
Gorgun pointed out that the achievement is not just about a missile hitting its target but represents the culmination of efforts by engineers, youth, and the nation as a whole. He expressed pride in the self-confidence displayed in Trkiye's aerospace advancements. Gorgun extended his gratitude to the Roketsan team, acknowledging their role in this significant accomplishment.
