Istanbul: Trkiye's exports in November amounted to $22.3 billion, marking a 3.1% decrease from the previous year, based on preliminary estimates from the Trade Ministry released on Monday. In contrast, Turkish imports increased by 2.4% on an annual basis, reaching $29.7 billion. This shift has resulted in an expansion of the country's foreign trade gap by 23.3% to $7.4 billion during the same period. According to Anadolu Agency, Germany remains Trkiye's top export destination, with $1.7 billion worth of Turkish goods exported in November. The United States followed with $1.47 billion, and the United Kingdom received $1.3 billion. On the import side, Russia was the largest provider, supplying $3.7 billion worth of goods to Trkiye. China and Germany were also significant sources of imports, contributing $3.6 billion and $2.3 billion, respectively. In terms of cumulative figures for the period from January to November, Trkiye's overseas shipments increased by 2.5% year-on-year, totaling $238.5 billion.
