Trump Concludes Gulf Tour with Visit to UAE

Abu Dhabi: US President Donald Trump departed Qatar on Thursday, heading to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the final destination of his current Gulf tour. This marks the third and last stop of his journey across the region, which also included visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump was seen off at the airport by Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The President's visit to Abu Dhabi is notable as it is the first by a US president in 17 years, underscoring the significance of the trip.

During his time in Qatar, Trump mentioned the possibility of traveling to Istanbul on Friday, should circumstances deem it appropriate. Trkiye is set to host Russian-Ukrainian peace talks, and Trump expressed his willingness to visit, stating, "If something happened, I'd go Friday (to Istanbul), if it was appropriate," during a meeting with business leaders.
