Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the recent discussions in Alaska between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have injected "new momentum" into the ongoing efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Erdogan communicated this development through a statement on his social media platform.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan emphasized the significance of the Alaska Summit, expressing optimism that the involvement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would pave the way for enduring peace. He further stated that Turkey is prepared to contribute towards establishing peace in the region.
