Washington:US President Donald Trump on Sunday reiterated his strong endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, encouraging Israelis to re-elect him in the upcoming election. Trump called for Israel to continue its military campaign against Iran until it is completed.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Trump made these remarks on his Truth Social platform, where he highlighted an endorsement letter he previously released on October 18. In the letter, he praised Netanyahu as an 'outstanding Warrior Prime Minister' and emphasized their close collaboration in military operations against Iran.

Trump referred to the US military operation against Iran, known as Operation Epic Fury, and claimed that Iran's navy and air force had been lost, while its military and economy were in disarray. He mentioned that Iran's inflation had hit 301% and that a naval blockade had hindered the country's oil exports. He also asserted that two levels of Iran's leadership, both military and civilian, had been eliminated.

In his message, Trump urged Israeli voters to support Netanyahu, stating, "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister. We have to finish the job that we started!" He depicted Netanyahu as a crucial partner in confronting Iran's threats against Israel and the US, arguing that Iran would have eventually acted on its rhetoric if not confronted.

Trump further stated that if Israel elected a leader other than Netanyahu, the US would have to take over the effort, a responsibility he was not inclined to assume. He praised Netanyahu's resilience amid opposition and declared, "BIBI NETANYAHU WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
