Washington: US President Donald Trump will hold a rally in Michigan next Tuesday to celebrate his first 100 days in office, the White House confirmed Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on X that President Trump is excited to return to Macomb County, Michigan, where he will rally to mark his first 100 days. Macomb County, a politically significant area in the state, was the location of Trump's final campaign rally last November, contributing to his narrow victory in Michigan during the 2024 election. Trump secured 49.73% of the vote against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris' 48.31%.

Prior to his visit to Michigan, Trump is scheduled to travel to Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis, which will be held on Saturday. This trip will be Trump's first international journey of his second term in office. On the social media platform Truth Social, Trump shared his plans, stating, "Melania and I will be going to the funeral of Pope Francis, in Rome. We look forward to being there!"
