Ankara: US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that the United States will strike Iran 'hard' in response to Tehran's recent attacks on American forces stationed in Jordan. This declaration came as tensions between the two nations have escalated following aggressive military actions.

According to Anadolu Agency, in a conversation with Fox News, President Trump confirmed that the US military strikes conducted overnight against Iran-backed militias in Iraq were done in coordination with the Iraqi government. This move highlights the strategic alliances and cooperation involved in addressing the threats posed by Iran-backed groups in the region.

After the attack on Jordan, President Trump emphasized the US's resolve, stating, "we'll be hitting them (Iranians) hard," and warning that "They're going to get a beating."
