New york: US President Donald Trump's media firm, Trump Media, announced on Monday the launch of its global TV streaming service, Truth+. This new platform is now available to users worldwide, catering to a variety of devices including iOS and Android, alongside streaming options on Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire, and Roku connected TVs.
According to Anadolu Agency, the statement from Trump Media highlighted the inclusion of the flagship Newsmax channel on all international Truth+ apps and the Web, marking a significant step in Newsmax's international expansion. The rollout of Truth+ apps is expected to extend further as they become available for LG and Samsung connected TVs upon approval.
Trump Media emphasized its commitment to refining the streaming technology, with plans to continue beta testing and gathering user feedback throughout the global rollout. CEO Devin Nunes expressed the company's mission to provide fresh perspectives and challenge existing news paradigms by offering non-woke reporting and commentary.
The expansion of Trump Media in the tech sector has been notable, with recent ventures including the launch of a cellular service, "T1 Mobile," and a smartphone, "T1 Phone." Furthermore, the company has taken steps to establish a Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) by filing a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
