New York:Turkey's Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, announced the country's commitment to safeguarding national interests, enhancing regional peace, and contributing to a fairer international order.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan highlighted Turkey's active participation in diplomacy during the recent UN General Assembly in New York. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, along with Foreign Ministry officials, engaged in numerous bilateral meetings and represented Turkey at various international gatherings.

Fidan emphasized that Turkey's diplomatic initiatives spanned a wide array of issues, including Palestine, climate change, food security, mediation, and migration. He noted the country's active role in international discussions and the upcoming COP31 climate summit, which Turkey will host.

Turkey's initiatives and proposals for peaceful crisis resolutions have attracted significant interest, showcasing its growing influence in international diplomacy. Fidan reiterated Turkey's determination to continue working under President Erdogan's leadership to achieve these goals.
